Blue Chip Balancer
Blue Chip Original contains a specific yeast culture
that helps create the correct acidic balance in the hind
gut, which in turn enables the important fibre digesting
bacteria or ‘good bugs’ to thrive. Maintaining this more
stable and less acidic environment aids the activity of
the fibre reducing bacteria and studies have shown that
numbers of beneficial bacteria in the caecum are greater
when supplemented with a yeast culture. The result is an
efficient digestive system which can obtain more
nutrients from the diet. Blue Chip Original is cost
effective, as less hard feed may be required, and no
other vitamins, minerals or oils may be necessary.

Blue Chip Dynamic
Horses joints are prone to physical damage from exercise
and incorrect movement. The result is the body attempts
a repair, this normally involves clearing the damaged
tissues and replacing with healthy new protein matrices.
Damaged tissues release chemicals such as free radicals,
which can lead to further damage. The effects of free
radicals can be modified by the diet of a horse:
similarly the reconstruction of healthy protein is
dependent on nutrients in the diet. Competition horses
have more stress put upon their joints as they compete.
Blue Chip Dynamic can support the horse's performance by
helping them to stay supple and sound |

Baileys No 1
A highly
digestible, non-heating complementary feed for promoting
weight gain and condition. Ideal for older horses with
dental problems or those recovering from surgery.
The “original” non-heating conditioning feed, Cooked
Cereal Meal was Baileys’ foundation product and,
although the formulation has been updated over the
years, it remains as effective as ever. It is made
exclusively from micronised wheat, a concentrated source
of carbohydrate calories, made as digestible as possible
through the meticulous cooking process. This maximises
the chances of the starch content being digested in the
foregut and helps minimise the chance of digestive
upsets or excitable behaviour.

Baileys Outshine
A 'mess free' high oil
supplement with key antioxidants for condition, weight
gain or stamina
Outshine is an extruded nugget that
combines oils from soya and linseed with supporting
nutrients, including important
anti-oxidants, plus
super fibres and
Digest Plus prebiotic to produce a high oil
supplement which can be fed to promote weight gain or
stamina or simply outstanding coat shine. Soya oil is
rich in Omega 6 fatty acids whilst linseed is an
excellent source of Omega 3 so Baileys Outshine combines
them both to give an optimum balance and avoiding the
risk of an imbalance from feeding straight soya oil or
boiled linseed.

Carrots
Feeding succulents as part of your horse's regular diet
can encourage fussy feeders as well as providing welcome
variety to the average horse. 30lb (15kg) of carrots
supply about 1kg of sugar – about the same amount a
horse would consume if he was out at grass for a few
hours.
When cutting up carrots always chop them lengthways to
reduce the risk of choke. |
